Oman Arab Bank is a commercial bank in Oman, established in 1984. It is jointly owned by Arab Bank plc, Oman International Development and Investment Company SAOG and other individual or corporate shareholders.

In order to fit requirements of digital era and to increase organizational agility by reducing time to market for new initiatives, the bank engaged in the implementation of an ESB as the backbone of their IT infrastructure. Indeed, An ESB architecture facilitates this by providing a simple, well defined, « pluggable » system that scales well.
